Inspirational Gardens - Wynyard Hall near Durham

A garden very much worth visiting if you are in the North East and one which was on my to do list for quite some time! Designed by Alistair Baldwin Associates the walled garden which is said to hold 3000 David Austin roses and a huge array of beautiful perennials, it is quite a sight to behold. We visited at the end of August 2022 by which time many of the roses had finished flowering but there was still plenty to see. The water features are some of the best i have ever seen and very inspiring. 

We plan to revisit in June or early July to see the roses in the full throws of flowering.
