My Favourite Frosted Foliage Plants

Yes it's cold out side but when we have a good hard frost it is worth venturing out into the garden to take an in depth look at the frosted foliage in the garden. Here are some of our favourite frosty foliage pictures from winter forages in our garden projects.

Elaeagnus, Mahonia and Pines offer great colour and texture during the winter months, but with the addition of frost they look magical. Ornamental grasses like Calamagrostis offer feathery frosted texture to the garden and plants with crinkled or furry foliage look even better with a frosty highlight. Definitely worth popping a coat on and seeing what frosted foliage you can find in your own garden.
